HOME HELPER

Time Requirement

At least one set weekday morning or afternoon, either weekly, or bi -weekly.

Reimbursement

$11.00 per hour

Purpose

To assist with household cleaning on a regular basis. Without this help, Clients might no longer be able to stay in their own homes.

Supervisor

Duties & Responsibilities

• Treat with dignity those individuals in contact with
• Confidentiality is stressed
• Vacuuming/dusting/laundry/sweeping/dust mopping/washing floors/cleaning bathrooms/clean-up and general regular housekeeping
• This is done weekly or bi-weekly

Basic Requirements

• General knowledge of sanitary housekeeping
• A good listener and caring nature
• Willing to make a commitment

Orientation & Training

• Meeting with Supervisor to outline specific functions requested by Client
• Meeting with Client to ensure compatibility
• Basic First Aid and CPR courses
• Periodic sessions applicable to this program
