RESPITE CARE WORKER
Time Requirement
Flexible hours - in some cases, overnight stays or a weekend may be required or 3 visits in one day to assist with meals.
Reimbursement:
- $12.00 per hour paid directly by the client.
- Out of pocket expenses (if any)
Supervisor
Purpose
To give full-time Caregiver's time away without concern.
Duties & Responsibilities
- To treat with dignity those individuals in contact with
- Confidentiality is stressed - although each assignment will differ and will reflect the Caregiver's instructions, generally assist the Client with activities of daily living including meal preparation and clean-up, ensuring regular medication is being taken, household and personal care functions
- Time is to be included for an orientation to the Client and household by the Caregiver
Basic Requirements
- A caring and kind nature

- Vehicle
- Current First Aid and CPR
- PSW or equivalent
